Sour Diesel, also know as “Sour D” or “Sour Deez” is a sativa-dominant hybrid strain composed of 90% sativa and 10% indica with about 20-25% of THC. This strain took root in the early 90s, it is believed to be a cross of Chemdawg 91 and Super Skunk. Couch lock and heavy body feeling does not seem to be a problem when smoking sour diesel. Instead, you can expect a cerebral high that opens up doors for creativity. This strain is commonly used on medical patients suffering from anxiety, depression and chronic fatigue. Although this strain contains 10% of indica, its not recommended for treating insomnia and other similar ailments because of invigorating head high. The smell of this strain should be intoxicating. It should remind of you of an overpowering stench of lemons and diesel fuel. The appearance of sour diesel is composed of dense light green mug covered in orange hairs. The smoke is expansive and will definitely cause coughing on larger hits.
